Parent Agreement
Parents agree to:
– Monitor their child’s use of the MyGriot platform.
– Avoid arranging or engaging in private tutoring with any MyGriot teacher outside the platform.
– Respect the moral and cultural mission of MyGriot.
No Off-Platform Contact Policy:
All communication and transactions between parents, students, and teachers must occur exclusively through the MyGriot platform. Any effort to bypass the platform—including but not limited to direct messaging, private tutoring arrangements, or solicitation for services outside MyGriot—is strictly prohibited.
MyGriot reserves the right to suspend or terminate any parent account that violates this rule.
Additional Conduct and Environment Expectations
- Teachers must dress professionally during live sessions. Shorts, revealing clothing, or casual wear such as tank tops are not acceptable. All clothing should reflect a respectful, professional teaching standard.
• Teaching must take place in a quiet, safe, and distraction-free environment. Public places, noisy settings, or areas lacking privacy are not permitted. A professional background and stable internet connection are required to ensure a productive learning environment for students.
